Suites have lots of room! Very clean. Breakfast is probably one of the best we have ever had. Scrambled eggs, cheese omelettes, delicious chicken sausage, yogurt bar, scones, waffle maker, oatmeal with many topping choices, coffee, lots of juice choices including a zero calorie kiwi-strawberry which was delicious. Bagels, English muffins, bread, cereals. So many delicious options. Indoor pool was the warmest one I have ever been in or wanted to go in. Staff were very kind!! They were a little skimpy on towels and tissue. Overall great experience!!
Everything about our stay was perfect. Staff goes above and beyond! Super sweet folks Jillian Davis was AWESOME! Such a welcoming face/personality in the mornings! She makes sure everything stays clean & stocked Thank you for the fresh baked cookies J.D. Our receptionist was the best we've had in a looong time! Great energy
Everyone is very pleasant and helpful. The hotel was very clean and attractive! When we got to our room, we were pleasantly surprised on how clean and beatiful they were,!
From the moment we arrived, we were wow’d by this hotel. Incredible staff! Every staff member we encountered was so friendly. For our anniversary, they gave us a bottle of wine for the room. That was such a thoughtful touch. Rooms were very spacious and clean, loved the LG TV! Breakfast/coffee was really good and a perfect way to start the day. Pool was a perfect temp! This is the perfect place to stay in Wilmington if you’re wanting to be close to both the beach and the downtown area. Also, the social hour they have Monday-Wednesday is incredibly well done! Great variety, especially considering it is complimentary. I couldn’t imagine staying elsewhere in Wilmington. Big thank you to the amazing staff and management!
My family and I had an amazing stay despite our AC quitting on us at 2am- due to Brenda! She is truly an asset to this branch. We went for an overnight before school kicked off for our 1st grader who also happens to share her birthday with that day and Brenda went out of her way to ensure our little one had the best stay possible. From asking what floor she wanted to be on and making a change to making sure to say happy birthday each time we saw her. We will for sure be back and look forward to that amazing person greeting us!
Ok stay. First time doing Staybridge. Probably the biggest downfall of this hotel is the god awful smell of the rooms. I originally thought someone smoked in my room so I requested a room change but then realized it’s just the smell of the hotel. Literally felt like I had secondhand smoke during my stay. The social hour food was decent and breakfast was slightly better than your Hampton Inn. Rooms are very outdated, but the rooms were quiet so that was a big plus. If you are staying for a short time, it’s not a bad stay once you get over the smell. Door from behind the building doesn’t work. I’d probably try a different hotel the next time I’m in the area just to see if there’s anything better.
Can’t complain about this hotel. Staff attended to my request promptly and provided a baby cot for me free of charge. The rooms were clean and spacious. On Wednesdays they have a time where you can get drinks and snacks at the bar.
